<p>As seen in the recent Naruto manga Raiga Kurosuki is included in the seven ninja swordsmen (*snip link*). This means that this character is a part of the canon story. Does this mean the Curry of life arc is also canon?

I have snipped your link as it leads to an illegal website. And the "Curry of Life Arc" was not canon and would never be considered as such.

<p>About Raiga - yes, we can be sure that it is him. Same hair, same outfit, Kiba wielder. Why would Kishi draw a character with so many similar characteristics? Look at Kubikiribōchō wielder - it's clear that this is not Zabusa thanks to the scar on his face.
About the Curry of life arc - filler arcs are never cannon.

<p>Just like Kiba, Kihsimoto decided to canonify Raiga. It's more than obvious. However, the filler arc stays anime-only.

</p><p>EDIT: Also, clarification: the swords were never called "Lightning Fangs" technically. The attack they used were called "Fangs of Lightning" and for whatever reason, we named the swords that as well.

if he was alive when guy was young, then he should be very old when naruto battled him (atleast 40 years old).
and if he was also alive back then, why did Ameyuri Ringo succeed him as the owner of the swords, only for him to come back and take them?
you could say that he battled her and killed her, but the anime said that she died of an illness. and she seemed way much better than him with the swords, while he only relied on the powers of the kid he got, so its unlikely that he killed her.
speaking of the kid, when he wasnt with him, wasnt he a kiri anubu? not a sword man of the mist
