It may be controlled by Naraka path in the same sense you 'control' the reaper with Uzumaki mask... that doesn't make the reaper any less an independent entity, plus it didn't have black piercings, so i'd call it more of a 'synchronisation' than proper control...

Yeah but Gedō: Rinne Tensei no Jutsu was used with Gedō not with Jigokudō so this has nothing to do with hell directly.

To me, this is an inconsistency on Kishi's part. First he introduces Naraka path resurrecting other Pains with king of hell (which is essentially a small-scale Rinne Tensei). Then he goes saying that reviving the village using the same king of hell is a Gedo skill. Some years later he introduces other stuff that is completely unrelated to 'revival/rebirth' (statue summoning, black chakra rods/body control, Biju-binding chains) as Gedo skills. And now, Obito uses Rinne Tensei WITHOUT the king of hell. WHat the hell?!

Now if you look at it logically, either resurrection would have to be a part of Naraka path, OR everything Enma-related is Gedo altogether (if you look at depictions of the wheel of life with the six realms, the monster holding on to it and spinning the wheel is Yama/Enma, and Rinne Tensei could be metaphorically described as 'making Yama turn the wheel backwards for a number of beings'. With Yama itself being OUTSIDE the wheel it would fit Gedo much better, in fact). But Kishi mixed stuff up and now he doesn't know anymore, so he has Obito not use king of hell for a Gedo skill... So yea, in terms of mythology, some things don't make perfect sense there
