<p>It looks like all the Chunin are still there, although Shikamaru and Lee might be Jonin. </p><p>Gaara's still Kazekage, so clearly Kankuro and Temari, if they show up, should still be Jonin. </p><p>Naruto should at least be a Chunin. Savior of the World, Child of Prophecy, son of the Fourth Hokage, last student of Lord Jiraiya, jinchuriki of all the Tailed Beasts and Asura's reincarnation...a 19 year old Genin? His sensei, who also beat him to the Hokage chair, graduated the academy at age FIVE. He might be the next Eternal Genin after Might Dai. </p><p>Sasuke looks to still be a missing-nin, or maybe he's been forgiven but still chose to leave the village, like Asuma did when he left to join the Twelve Guardian Ninja. If he was forgiven, he should be at least a Jonin. </p><p>Maybe we might see Konohomaru as a Chunin or something? </p>

<p>@NeedleJizo If you're going based on design, not all Jonin wear the flak jackets. Kankuro and Temari are definitely Jonin still. Like you said, Naruto should be a Chunin, but I'm willing to bet that immediately after he becomes one, there will be a million letters of recommendation for him to be a Jonin flooding the Hokage residence. He won't be an Eternal Genin though; he's going to be Hokage. Sasuke's been forgiven, but he's clearly not part of Konoha or at least Team 7 anymore (if he were, Sai wouldn't be with Naruto and Sakura on the mission). Thus, he'll still be a Genin, and it'll be a while before people will let him become more. Konohamaru will probably be a Chunin, but Asuma's child? Dude, the kid won't be in the Academy even at this point in the story. </p>

<p>Geez, who cares if Naruto is still a genin. You place way too much importance on rank. It really DOES NOT MATTER what 'rank' he is. His title is 'mutha f-in savior of the world'. What does chuunin or jounin mean next to that, or Hokage even? Being "hokage" isn't necessarily important anymore because the original reason was for acknowledgment. He has that...literally globally. After the MT is released, I doubt there will be a single person in the ENTIRE shinobi no sekai that doesn't know who Uzumaki Naruto is. </p><p>What I find interesting is that under Gaara's bit that Suzaku provided us it says "Gaara: Jinchuriki of the One Tail, he once had a change of heart after fighting Naruto. He now serves as Kazekage in order to protect Sunagakure." Not "Gaara: ONCE jinchuriki of the one tail. This seems to indicate to me that he gets Shukaku back. If they go back to having hosts, doesn't that sort of defeat Naruto's promise and what not? The bijuu were to be freed with the exception of Kurama who would be the link for all of them. </p>

<p>You forget some of the Biju have formed attachment to humans, like Gyuki, Kurama, so maybe Shukaki too is nostalgic about the times he used to mind**** Gaara while asleep. </p>

The ninja rankings has been long since highly overrated to me so who cares if Naruto is still a genin or not.
