ALL POSTSLength of time between Shinobi World Wars
<p>I've been trying to figure out how long the length of time is between each world wars. I know between the 1st and 2nd there was twenty years but the gaps between 2 and 3, and 3-4 are not clear. The thing that makes this hard for me to figure out is how old the characters are. For example, Nagato's parents died during the 2nd war and they were trained by Jiraya around this time as well. Yet he's around 35 years old at the time of his death. The thing that makes this weird is Kakashi is like 30-31 at this time same goes for Obito.
So can someone help clear this up for me. How long of a gap was there between the 2nd and 3rd wars, and 3rd to 4th wars.

<p>Apart from the time gap between each war, it would interesting to see how long the 4th ninja wolrd war lasted.
As far as i could see, the 4th lasted for like less than a week.

4th war lasted for three days, I think. Maybe five, including the declaration and all that stuff. </p>

<p>The First and Second Shinobi World Wars mirror World Wars I and II, so it was 20 years in-between. Dan was 27 during his death in the Second War, which makes sense: assuming him and Tsunade were the same age, Hashirama was dead before the First War and he lived to see Tsunade as a toddler.
</p><p>There's honestly not enough information on the Second War to tell how long it was until the Third War, but it was enough for Jiraiya to train the Ame Orphans, train Minato, and then for Minato to become a Jonin and have his own team.
</p><p>Kakashi and Obito were 13 during the Third Shinobi World War and 31 during the Fourth, so it's been 18 years, give or take a few months.
