ALL POSTSBlaze Release=Fire+Yin?
<p>From what little application we seen of Yin to other elements, it turns the element black. Is it possible that Blaze is created when Fire and Yin mix? It would technically still be fire release, as Amatarasu is stated to be.

It could be augmented by Yin. Amatarasu has properties that no other Fire Release has.

<p>Question is: What would Yin and Yang bring along when they're used to augment a chakra nature? I mean, what's so special about that colour change? And how can YR and YR unique powers amplify the chakra nature? How would each chakra nature change?

<p>If you consider how Tayuya's spirit worms work, it makes sense that Amaterasu would act the way that it does if indeed Blaze=Fire+Yin. A fire so devoid of physical energy to the point of endlessly consuming the physical world...

<p>Well Yin is the power of imagination right? It gives form. So it might be able to alter properties and/or amplify them. Assuming Lightning Dispatch is Lightning release in some shape/form, it changed the way lightning moved, and looking at the way it wrapped around Naruto's Sage Rod, it doesn't(at least to my knowledge) react the same way other lightning attacks have(go straight through the target). I believe the databook says it captures the enemy as well.

The reason it is black is because, unlike Tayuyas worms, fire DOES have physical energy and Yin is feeding it. Fire is a real, physical thing.

I think what LegionZero means is that a flame is physically there. And chakra that takes on the characteristics of fire obviously needs matter to burn off from.

<p>LegionZero, I have waited someone to post or ask this question because i have the thought the same as you for quite a long time. It has fire properties and is considered fire by the databook and the manga.

2. Fire requires fuel to burn, but Amaterasu never goes out.
</p><p>Furthermore, Darui has a black lightning, are we gonna say that's the same thing as Amaterasu?
