<p>@Rachin123 i know there is little to no evidence on tsunade and minato's elements in the series, that why i'm using Tobirama who is obviously good with Water Release as an example. about hiruzen i am pretty sure he is good with fire release(because of his clan) and earth release... it just bothers me that strong, genius level characters as minato don't even shows their element once. </p>

<p>There's nothing we can do about it. Blame Kishi who pulled these natures out of his a** with no displaying or mention of any kind for the most part. Like Tsunade, she may or may not have used lightning when she that one and one time chop attack that disfigures the body's commands but its something and with it revealing she has lightning, it can be concluded it may be a lightning release technique after all. </p>

<p>I don't what the fuss is about to be honest. Just because they don't display them in the manga, doesn't mean they don't have said natures. Kakashi himself stated that almost everyone's chakra falls under at least 1 of the 5 basic natures, so..... </p><p>And the databooks are classified as canon because they give technique names, explanations on said techniques, and a lot of other information Kishi likely didn't have time (or patience lol) to include in his manga. I'm glad at least the chakra natures aspect was confirmed, and this is coming from the wiki's biggest 4th DB hater. The problem come when the databook information contradicts the manga. </p>

I don't think anyone's fussing but confused as how he would give people natures out of nowhere which it was and not at least give them some techs for their natures. And the databooks are second to manga always so it can be "canon" supposedly despite how many contradictions its had. The only thing its good for is ranks and name of techs. Almost everything else gets messed up.

<p>hahaha!! yep!! i like minato's elements tho... fire release like his sensei, lightning like his disciple and wind like his son!... unavoidable similarities were unavoidable! xd </p>

<p>Databook is canon. Databook is to fill in gaps and clarify info, also bringing in new info. All databooks had errors. Kishi and his assistants are human too. </p>

<p>Fussing was the wrong word to use I'll admit, but you're right the db had too many contradictions. Honestly, we wouldn't be having this discussion had these guys been more careful with how they present their information, but as QuakingStar said, they're human. We just gotta deal with it unfortunately. </p>

<p>@Quak I'm quite aware what databooks are for. And its not about making errors but "many" is the thing here. I'm not expecting things to be perfect but geez its like he forgets his own work more than half the time. But its nothing we can do but deal with it. Putting his contradictions in trivia is a good idea as it would not ignore new info that's "canon" (I use that loosely) and just makes Kishi look bad over and over and over again lol. </p>

<p>If you ever become a manga artist then you will realize that you can not fit every piece of info into the chapters. That is why Databooks exists, to list off info that is relevant to the story but did not make it into the pages of the chapter. Could you imagine how behind we would be if Kishi tried to incorporate everyone's ninja registration numbers and all that crap into the chapters? You focus in on the story and go from there. Any other stuff that isn't a top priority can be spun off later providing your series is successful enough. </p><p>The biggest hint was when Kakashi said the Jonin level ninja have at least two elemental natures. Given that the leaf has stayed on the top of the ninja world for generations, I am not shocked that many of its shinobi have had at least basic training in many natures. The problem is that Naruto is a story where all those traditions are thrown out the window because the mc is about to bring a big political shift to the shinobi world and the fact that he is a doofus when it comes to the technical aspect of jutsu workings. If the manga focused on the Sannin's time then we may have seen how they were encouraged to learn so many natures. </p>

<p>What about TenTen's chakra nature(s)? Don't tell me thy're not even stated in the databooks..... </p>
