<p>As if more filler on Team Minato wasn't enough.. The episode was meh, but I'll gladly hear(read) your opinions about it.

<p>personally I skipped this episode,I don't care if it was a good episode I'm just extremely tired of this BS filler I thought we were done with it when Madara became a jinchuriki but no, we had to have one more filler because reasons

I personally like these certain types of fillers because it gives more background information on character's that we don't know that deeply about. They add to the character.

I'm not sure but are the fillers actually based off of what happened in the manga or is it something completely separate?

<p>Theyre based on stuff linked to the manga. Fillers arent really to be discredited, they just fill in parts of history the manga never covered or introduce us to other new characters so that the Narutoverse would seem larger or something I guess. </p>

<p>As someone who watched all of naruto before reading the manga: Yes. The Manga is surprisingly succinct, and in my opinion sometimes too succinct. On the other hand, the Anime provides a more complete picture (but is sometimes too drawn out). overall, i would say the Anime provides a much more balanced (in terms of development) character sheet. </p>
