Everyone was busy complaining during Chapter 700 how they wanted to see their fate and now we did. So I'm happy.

<p>Kabuto's raising pups in Konoha, Taka still works for Orochimaru, and Orochimaru has seemingly perfected his immortality jutsu, no longer looking 40-something. </p><p>And yet, Otogakure seems to now be allied to Konoha since Karin helped Sakura and Sasuke birth Sarada, Orochimaru helped Naruto and Sasuke, and even Suigetsu and Naruto had interaction, hinting that they're at least acquainted. </p>

<p>If you think about it...the former Kage from the great nations have done some things just as bad as Oro and company. So forgiveness in the ninja world continues. (Not on an individual level, individuals tend to want revenge until the very end) </p><p>All in all a nice wrap up... </p>

<p>Yea it's not exactly like the Kage are saints. Orochimaru has great power of knowledge that may be of great use. Besides, if he no longer uses citizens to experiment (and Shin seems to have taken care of that) and no longer desires to destroy Konoha, then most of his threat is gone. Same for Kabuto. So yes the Ninja world remains a world where rules are mostly pragmatic. </p>

<p>I wouldn't say he's <i>perfected</i> it. His aim was to live forever, not look young. As for why he does, I'm pretty sure it's just because he took the body of someone that age. </p>

Orochimaru possessed that hot blonde guy during the Sasuke Retrieval Arc who was clearly a young adult around Part 2 Naruto's age. And when his host's face was exposed while fighting Hiruzen, it looked like a teenage girl. So he still looked mid-40's while possessing young adults. Looking far more younger suggests refining the possession process, which further suggests he's perfected it. </p>
