<p>What if Obito didn't get crushed by the rocks and he couldnt save Kakashi? First of all, Kakashi would be dead because Madara would have no interest in a non-Uchiha. second, Obito would probably awaken another Tomoe ,or in the most extreme case, Mangekyo Sharingan due to the Anger he feels when Kakashi dies. Obito would probably train more seriously after kakashi's death. However. I cant think of any way that Obito and Rin will Survive Rin's Persecution. However, lets just say that Obito and Rin survive. Obito will probably become the leader of team 7 in the later years and Obito will go through all the missions instead of Kakashi. Due to Obito never becoming the Masked Man, The Akatsuki would never be full of S-rank Criminals, all the Jinchuriki will still be alive, Madara and the other edo tenseis wouldnt be reborn, and The only threats that i can see popping up are Kabuto, and Maaaaaybe Black Zetsu. </p><p>The whole timeline also assumes that Itachi wasnt able to kill Obito in the Uchiha Masacre. </p><p>If Obito died The whole story wouldnt even be the same </p>
