Oppose — So the wiki is just going to start giving every random user under the sun user rights, even when they clearly don't need them? Okay then. (If you didn't notice, that sentence was dripping in sarcasm and is rhetorical, so please don't quote my post just to respond to it).
This isn't out of disrespect for him, but Cerez does not use the chat. At all. The chatbox has been enabled for well over a year, and I have seen the nominated user in the chat... twice. A user who is basically never going to use the chatbox (and from what I know, is too busy to care) is not someone who needs those rights.
If another chat mod is needed (which, looking at the list of users, there isn't a need for another), Norleon is my choice because he is in the chat at least 95% of the time and would make use of the rights appropriately. But certainly not Cerez: I do recall that, back when the chat was enabled, he made it very clear he would not use it and was pretty opposed to every social aspect enabled here. And in the random moments when he joins chat, he says barely anything and, more often than not, leaves if any user he doesn't like enters the chat. That is not someone that I would trust to moderate a chat room.
So I have to unequivocally oppose this, because the wiki would gain nothing from it: Cerez is quite fine in editing the wiki, but he has been 100% opposed to all social aspects of the wiki. For anyone who cares enough, these threads should suffice as evidence.
PS: I don't seem to see any talkpage edit or message that indicates Cerez365 was requesting chat moderator rights either.
