You guys forgot about the fact that Deidara could knock out the Sanbi with fish-bombs UNDER WATER. Even with Samehada, against C2 Dragon and Landmines he doesn't stand a chance, when he get's attacked from above and bellow. Deidara wins clearly.

Well, landmines do not count here cause there's no Tobi who can put them underground, but agreed with the rest.

Deidara also has the ability to move underground, he could place them himself.

I see points in all this but what is going to stop Kisame from using his great exploding water colliding wave once he sees Deidara trying to gain distance. Then forming the water prison shark dance technique to trap Deidara in a moving water prison that stretches out for miles. Even if Deidara is airborne he would still be trapped due how high it was. Deidara would drown while trying to even catch a merged Kisame with Samehada who are moving way to fast and who also cannot be sensed.

Kisame can be sensed, his and Samehada's Chakra Signature are only identical due to there long partnership. Even with the Water Prison Shark Dance Technique, he has to capture Deidara in it, before becoming effectiv. Deidara is a pure long-range fighter with the ability to fly with his clay, which makes it difficult for Kisame to reach him and capture him in said jutsu. I am still with Deidara wins
