<p>So what if he fly's out of range and uses C4 then what will kisame do to stop it. By water shark bomb do you mean Water Release: Water Shark Bullet Technique because that can be easily be exploded and for thousand hungry sharks he can fly away and C3 a bunch if they get close. </p>

As for thousand hungry sharks, sure Deidara can fly away but that does nothing to help him win the fight. When he comes back, he will be in exactly the same situation as before. In my opinion Kisame has the jutsu versatility and chakra reserves to either outlast Deidara or close the gap. </p>

<p>How does Kisame avoid or beat C4 then? Even if it is only one technique. </p>

<p>I never said he could. And in most cases he wouldn't have to, since it isn't a jutsu that Deidara would use immediately. </p>

Kisame wins against most that uses primarily Ninjutsu. He absorbs these techniques that is why Gai was the perfect person to stop him being a Taijustu specialist. Deidara could only win if he did not have Samehada.

<p>Yeah, but nearly all the ninja who battled Kisame and whose chakra he absorbed with Same were close or mid-range combatants. Deidara is not so stupid too engage in a close combat with his chakra being absorbed. In fact, he's actually a long-rage combatant, and that's a real problem for Kisame. Samehada can't absorb chakra on distanse, it's not even clear if it can neutralise Deidara's clay explosions by absorbing chakra inside them. But even if it can, it's not able to defend Kisame completely, especially if the clay dolls would attack from several directions. During this Deidara can safely float in the sky on his clay bird/C2 dragon and make his clay creations to fire them or to neutralise with their explosions Kisame's long-range water jutsu aka Water Shark Bomb + derivatives. </p>

<p>You guys forgot about the fact that Deidara could knock out the Sanbi with fish-bombs UNDER WATER. Even with Samehada, against C2 Dragon and Landmines he doesn't stand a chance, when he get's attacked from above and bellow. Deidara wins clearly. </p>

I see points in all this but what is going to stop Kisame from using his great exploding water colliding wave once he sees Deidara trying to gain distance. Then forming the water prison shark dance technique to trap Deidara in a moving water prison that stretches out for miles. Even if Deidara is airborne he would still be trapped due how high it was. Deidara would drown while trying to even catch a merged Kisame with Samehada who are moving way to fast and who also cannot be sensed.

<p>Kisame can be sensed, his and Samehada's Chakra Signature are only identical due to there long partnership. Even with the Water Prison Shark Dance Technique, he has to capture Deidara in it, before becoming effectiv. Deidara is a pure long-range fighter with the ability to fly with his clay, which makes it difficult for Kisame to reach him and capture him in said jutsu. I am still with Deidara wins </p>
