<p>Would be nice to watch, but I wonder too if it'll be a separate adaptation or they'll animate it as the part of Naruto Shippuden (filler) series. Personally, I think it should be separated from Shippuden cause we already have too many fillers and there's no sign they'll end soon. Also currently I see no way how Itachi's theme could be brought up in Shippuden again. </p>

<p>Mostly it'll be a part of Shippuden anime. <p>Well, I don't know if these are positive news cause I have a feeling that this means fillers ongoing up to the spring, I severely doubt Pierott'll already animate all the rest of cannon episodes. I hope I'm wrong, there's also a possibility they'll end the actual storyline and produce Itachi Shinden along with Sasuke Shinden, which takes place during Sasuke's journey after the FSWW. </p>

<p>I laughed so hard when I read this. I immediately remembered that a while back, someone was trying to remove all information from the these novels because they weren't canon. </p>

<p>I remember this as well, although I didn't participate in this incident. </p>

I can't wait for the Itachi anime... this is just awesome.
