I'm not sure whether this was in the manga as well, but in the second fight vs Hidan and Kakazu, Shikamaru brought a scroll that was intended to seal a lightning jutsu. I don't know for sure, but it seems similar to what Jiraiya used to seal the Amaterasu. Therefore, providing he gets the timing right he may be able to stop it before being hit.

he showed a susanoo in the size of a PS while he used the susanoo-armor-on-kurama-jutsu, i think he needs at least enough strength for regular PS in order to do this,

but either way, full-body-susanoo would be enough ^_^

Same. Vs Itachi, Jiraiya has the advantage of greater chakra reserves plus the strain MS techniques would put on Itachi's eyes. Vs EMS Sasuke, he has no such advantage. Jiraiya is intelligent, versatile, and should prove a challenge but Sasuke would take this one.

Sasuke was on Naruto's level at that time, or around it, Naruto was said to have surpassed Jiraiya chapters before that. It's safe to assume Sasuke who surpassed Orochimaru someone Jiraiya competed with all his life and could never beat, would win. I disagree with you guys concerning Itachi vs Jiraiya, I still believe Itachi would win. But if you disagree go to the thread about it and argue your points instead of doing it here xD. Why does everyone put Jiraiya against emo Uchiha's that he can't beat. Can someone give my man a fair fight?

When Sasuke was at EMS its safe to assume Naruto was around his level /at that time/ Ems Sasuke would of killed SM Naruto before gaining Kyubi control, i'm sure people can agree somewhat to this. Sm Naruto was stated to have surpassed Jiraiya. Sasuke was stronger then Sm Naruto. EMS Sasuke > Sage Mode Pre Kyubi Naruto > Jiraiya.

Though I agree with you up to a certain point, EMS Sasuke and SM Kurama Naruto awakened their powers at the (roundabout)same time. SM Naruto surpassed Jiraiya in his usage of SM, but not in every aspect. But as this is Sasuke vs Jiraiya, maybe we should stick to discussing them.
