<p>Your favorite jutsu does not have to be special or necessarily powerful or even useful in any way. You simply have to state what your favorite is, and explain why of your own free accord.
</p><p>As for mine, it would be the Eight Gates.
</p><p>I find this jutsu to be very realistic and understandable, in how such immense power simply needs a drawback of some sort, regardless of the situation at hand. While you are given such immense strength that it could easily surpass some of the most powerful shinobi in world history, the damage to your own self is often extremely difficult to reverse and treat, if not impossible. Such an instance is with Might Guy. While he nearly succeeded in defeating Madara Uchiha, use of the Eight Gates left him in an irreversible state for the rest of his life.

<p>Yeah for some reason I just love Chidori/Raikiri. In spite of having seen all sorts of awesome jutsus and abilities in Naruto, the moment I hear the word "jutsu", I automatically look at my right hand and imagine a cloak of magnificent blue lightning around it. Weird, considering that jutsu has so many drawbacks and isn't even near the level of the 3rd Raikage's 4 finger lightning spear, which is basically the same as Raikiri in steroids (in principle at least). </p>

<p>It's just a really, really cool jutsu. Nothing quite says badass like a blade of lightning in your hands. </p><p>Though Eight Gates (Not just the eight. All of them) is my favorite. Just the idea of extreme power/extreme price makes it really cool. </p>

<p>I have got to say eight gates! I love the raw power and speed, but the reason that it is my favorite is because it takes hard work to achieve and sacrifice. You gamble everything and work as hard as you can to use it.

<p>It's one reason why I chose the Eight Gates. While you do gain immense power from this technique, this power is only temporary, and comes at a terrible price, as opposed to other powerful jutsu which are just illogical and overpowered.

<p>And that's exactly what I like about the Eight Gates. I simply don't think it's fair that a gifted individual, Itachi Uchiha or Nagato, for example, were given such incredible powers at birth. Yet, Guy had to work tirelessly, day and night, using his own blood, sweat, and tears to get where he is now. I think such powerful jutsu should only ever be acquired through hard and relentless work, regardless of the situation, individual, jutsu itself, or any other factor, and such a powerful jutsu in the first place should always have a serious drawback. </p>
