The jinchuuriki were only "needed" to help maintain the balance of power between the five great shinobi countries which is no longer needed with the countries at peace with each other and only Kumo and Konoha still having their jinchuuriki.

<p>there older purpose is Irrelivant. if we are going by that logic. shinobi are no longer needed because there is peace in the shinobi lands. but this doesn't mean there always will be. logic would dictate that someone would still be used as a potential jinchuriki. meaning boruto and himawari should still get to know kurama incase they need to be his jinchuriki in the future. IE alien attack, or super advanced society threatens the peace of the shinobi world. also the shinobi world isn't the only world that exists. there are samurai as well. there could be people like shaolin monks from china, we know china exists in naruto because gai mentioned chinese medicine. there could be forieng militaries with powers similar to chakra in the future etc etc </p>

<p>Just because it's called chinese medicine in-universe doesn't mean China as a nation exists in the shinobi world... and even if it did, it'd be different from the one we know </p><p>But anyway, I think the reason Boruto and Himawari didn't know about Naruto's abilities is simple: he never showcased them. Ie, there were no battles that required such power on his part (if any at all), and thus all they know about were Shadow Clones - regularly used - as well as general-but-not-specific statements that their father is strong </p><p>And also, for what reason would there need to be more jinchuruki anymore? There is no more need for a balance of power, and without any known threats, there's no reason to force the Tailed Beasts (or any hosts) to be forced to reside within each other. If they choose to do so, that's one thing, but there's no real need for them anymore either... especially since 'what if this happens' only goes so far </p><p>^That's what I think </p>

<p>Zombies are a thing of fiction yet the united states of america created specific plans on how to fight a possible zombie outbreak, just INCASE. i never said they would simply seal Kurama into boruto or Himawari. what i said was they should have met kurama already and became his friend on the off chance that the naruto world is attacked by someone. we know that the otsutsuki clan are warlike and kaguya was specifically affraid of 3 of them. there is most likely more otsutsuki in the naruto universe. so they are bound to come attack the shinobi world in the future. a good leader doesn't think niavely. a good leader always plans for the unexpected. someone like tobirama would definitely set things in order and plan for the worst possible scenerior so naruto should be doing the same. no peace is a lasting peace its impossible so kurama should be passed down the uzumaki clan simply because one day wars will break out and someone will be powerful enough to apose the peace that the 5 shinobi villages have created </p>

<p>I didn't say the Kage wouldn't be prepared to make more junchuriki, or that they didn't make plans period; just that they can't force that to happen purely for the sake of plans. </p><p>The reasoning of keeping around powerful forces purely to meet threats that may/may not exist... is not legitimate on it's own merits, even for good leaders imo. No one knew about Momoshiki or Kinshiki; if they had, then they'd have made sure to take measures to prepare for them - but without that knowledge, there was no reason to build up their forces. That is also not a legitimate reason to force Kurama to be passed down the family lines... if for no other reason, he has a say in the matter if he ever wants to be free of being confined to a human host. </p><p>^The same applies to Boruto and Himawari; even after they meet Kurama, what if they don't want to be jinchurki? What if Kurama doesn't want to be confined inside them either, even with his newer views, but would rather choose someone else? </p><p>The general point is, preparation and plans only goes so far, without a credible reason or threat to direct them toward. They'll still fight and make every effort to oppose enemies, but they won't be needlessly paranoid or overly cautious anymore - not as they were in the past; that's the entire point. </p>

<p>Shinobi still exist because while their world is at peace, they still are hired by others to do stuff like assasinations, maybe people who aren't Shinobi. </p><p>Kurama doesn't need another cage. </p>

<p>After Naruto dies, Kurama will be free. No more jinchuriki. </p>

<p>Naruto was the first person in a thousand fucking years to make friends with Kurama. Why do you assume that Boruto or Himawari would be able to do so? Boruto is mostly a little pompous shit with almost none of his father's ability to empathize with a similar lonely being. </p><p>Not to mention... Isn't a Bijju supposed to be kinda like a Monster? <p>Boruto witnessed Momoshiki and Kinshiki attempt to destroy Konoha, have battle giant Panda Bear things, and probably much more. I don't think meeting Kurama, who is basically a tame pet fox with abs, would be much of an issue. Boruto would probably be cool with him after seeing his power, and if anything, Kurama is still scared of Himawari after what she did to him and Naruto. </p>
