<p>Gai never destroyed a tsb.Tsb just doesn't work against senjutsu so obviously it wouldn't work against a guy powered by it (Madara). </p><p>As for speed Gai"s attacks like evening elephant was fast his movement speed was comparable to Madaras. </p><p>This fight is 50/50 but I think toneris attacks are way more lethal </p>

And again gaaras sand is what protected minato it does erase things out of existence.

<p>I read that tsb doesn't dissolve things given that it didn't do anything to minatos back but minatos back was protected by Gaaras sand when he teleported Madaras tsb in the might guy vs Madara fight.Youll see remnants of gaaras sand on minatos jacket when the tsb dissolves and Madara turned to kaguya. </p>
