<p>so some people are saying itachi can just hit madara with totsuka blade and he wins. But madara can WIN EASILY. limbo clones = gg itachi can't sense or see it, perfect sussano, wood clones, both rinnegan, rinne sharingan, can make wood clones use perfect sussano,
do you see itachi soloing the 5 kage? mei, oonoki, tsunade, a, gaara?
AND THAT WAS WITH A MUCH WEAKER MADARA. even ems alive madara wins, he fought hashirama for days.
Itachi and sasuke even stated that being in that sussano form is painful, since itachi doesn't have ems, (sasuke gains it later on)
so itachi will tire out, and 1 limbo clone wins against itachi.
PS. tsukuyomi doesn't work, madara has superior dotjutsu.

<p>No, i mean "such jutsu" as in "jutsu with particular effects" (that Madara should really know about). Izanami is a very particular jutsu with very specific conditions, effects and uses. Itachi only knew that it would work against Kabuto because he recognized himself in him, and wanted to give him another chance. He has no such knowledge or guarantee of Madara, in fact everything we know about madara suggests it simply won't have an effect. </p><p>Madara was clan leader. It would be ridiculous if he didn't know everything that was on those secret scrolls of secret Uchiha techniques. He's the earliest known user of Izanagi. It would be dumb if the clan developed a jutsu specifically to counteract it and he as it's leader would be unaware. </p><p>Itachi's explanation for Izanami includes that "there's a way out, if you accept who you are". If that's how it works, it wouldn't work on someone perfectly at peace with oneself. Plus that Itachi needed time to set up the jutsu, time that he needs to spend fighting a walking superweapon. He's not gonna win. MS Madara is the lowest iteration he has a chance against, EMS Madara is too strong against him. </p><p>Look at the facts in stead of wildly extrapolating Itachi's power, and it simply isn't a contest. </p>

<p>first time sasuke saved him, when he put an amaterasu circle around them, when kabuto almost got itachi from behind, second was when kabuto came out of orochi's snake's mouths, but sasuke grabbed it in midair, and third was when sasuke used a susanoo arrow to shoot kabuto from a distance, so that he wouldn't kill itachi with sasuke's sword. those are the ones I can think of right now.

<p>Wow. I remember commenting on an Itachi vs Madara thread once. It was something about whether Madara could or could not break Itachi's Tsukuyomi in time without suffering severe mental damage or something like that. I didn't know there was another Itachi vs Madara thread I had no knowledge about, and with a fuck lot of comments and replies at that!! And I see that people are <i>still</i> riding the Itachi horse as if all those other Itachi vs Madara debates never happened. Like WTF???!!!
