<p>Before he died he was an old man with grey hair. When Kabuto reanimated him, he was a young man, how is that possible?

<p>It seems that Kabuto tampered with his reanimated body to restore it into the "prime state", i.e. to its youthful appearance and powers.

I'm still confused as to why he didn't do that with Chiyo or Hanzo.

Because Kabuto himself said that Madara's reanimation was "special" as he wanted to turn Madara into his ultimate trumpcard.

<p>Probably it was very labour-intensive and time-consuming, so it made sense to restore the ONLY godlike shinobi in his arsenal to his prime. Chiyo and Hanzo were probably not worth the trouble. </p>
