<p>Horrible adaption of Chapter 700/700+5, but at least it was a cool introduction to the new generation of Kage. I'm not one for shipping characters, but Naruto's connection with that tree had me on the edge of my seat. The next two episodes will take place in Kirigakure and will feature 2 new characters.

<p>Boy, did the shadow clone jutsu go down hill...Thank God Sarada using it is an anime feat only, because it's just BS.
Also this episode was anything but chapter 700.
The only thing from chapter 700 was Boruto writing idiot on Naruto's stone face.
I liked the Kage introductions however, that was dope.

<p>What's wrong with Sarada using Shadow Clone? It's not that uncommon, Kiba could do that. Now if she used the mass version it would have been wrong.

<p>Because for me it was bad enough when a 6 years old Boruto and a (apparently) 6 years old Itachi could use it. The shadow clone technique started with this
idea of it being a banned jutsu, and was pretty much only ever used by OG characters like Naruto, Hiruzen, Minato, Tobirama. Also, Naruto was/is the only one who uses it in a mass proportion. The others only ever made a few. Even Tobirama made like 2, as well as Hiruzen. And now, we have 6 years old doing it, and like a one week experienced one tomoe sharingan user. I personally dislike the idea.

<p>To be fair, Sarada is the direct offspring of a reincarnation of Indra, with loads of innate talent, and a Sharingan user. Plus, she only made one and she pretty immediately felt the aftereffects (Okay, yes, the aftereffects are from the Sharingan, but I'm going to silently lump the two together). Boruto, for his part, is the direct offspring of a reincarnation of Asura, and an Uzumaki to boot, which means loads of energy. It's not surprising that he picked up the technique from either his father or Konohamaru. Does anyone else think that that old tree that naruto has been nurturing in which we saw the bud at the end of the episode somehow foreshadows him using wood release.

<p>Why are people mad that Sarada could use shadow clones, Naruto is her biggest role model of course she's going to want to master his jutsus. I didn't see people get mad at Boruto when they said he could use "Chidori" in the movie because his role model was Sasuke. I want Sarada to follow more and more in Naruto's foot steps and maybe even go as far as learning "Sage Mode" from him and master more of his techniques.
