ALL POSTSTeam Moegi Ino Shika Cho
<p>It shows in the manga that Moegi is the new generation's teacher yet it also says on various pages that the teacher is always a member of the Sarutobi Clan. Did they change that for some reason?
</p><p>Also I know some were thinking/hoping Mirai Satutobi would be their teacher, but she was born right before 4th Shinobi War and the Boruto Movie took place 15 years later where Boruto and Gang are 12-13. Making her only 3-4 years older than them. Not 7 like some who probably thought 15 years was in between War and beginning of Boruto Manga.

I guess they had no choice since all the Jonin Satutobi's from Konoha died .

But they create new characters like that all the time. Couldnt they just do that?

<p>Wasn't it hinted that Dan was also Choza's sensei?I know that it was never directly confirmed, but it's still likely since Dan was in Jiraiya's generation, and Jiraiya trained Minato, who was in Choza's generation.
</p><p>And yes, there was a Sarutobi jonin who could've taken over the new Ino-Shika-Cho, and that's Konohamaru. If a "Sarutobi being the sensei of Ino-Shika-Cho" was that important, than Konohamaru would've trained them, instead of him training Boruto's Dad's Son's team.
</p><p>So i don't think that it's such an urgent matter for a Sarutobi to be the Jonin in charge of I-S-C.

I don't think their team leader has to be a Sarutobi.

<p>The answer to why they chosed Moegi to lead Ino-Shika-Cho is because Konohamaru was destined to become the leader of Boruto and co.
</p><p>So over the course of the series there was established that the Hokage has a close teacher/family role.
</p><p>- The first being the founder.
- The Second is the brother of the First.
- The Third was the student of the First and Second.
- The Fourth was the student of the stundent (who was also a candidate for the position) of the Third.
- The Fifth is the grand-daughter of the First, the grand-niece of the second and the student of the Third.
- The Sixth was the student of the Fourth.
- The Seventh is the son of the Fourth and the student of the Sixth.
</p><p>- The Eight will be Konohamaru, who is the grand-child of the Third and was the student of the Seventh.
- The Ninth will be Sarada, the student of the Eight.
</p><p>Its crystal clear why Konohamaru (the only 'available' Sarutobi) leads Team Boruto instead of Team Ino-Shika-Cho.
