ALL POSTSCan sasuke using his rinnegan and sharingan copy kekkai genkai ?
<p>This is just a random question I had. The sharingan can copy any jutsu and the rinnegan helps the user to master all seven elements. Can one use both of them to master and use a kekkai genkai ? , like lava release , ice release or even dust release ?. It is said that sharingan can copy any jutsu except kekkai genkai ,but with a rinnegan ( or sasuke's tomoe rinnegan ) with his chakra skill and intellect try to reproduce a kekkai genkai ?

<p>Rinnegan allows its user to master all 5 basic nature transformation, but nothing says it can allow to master the combined ones as well (achieved through KKG live Lava, Ice etc), so no, there's no way to reproduce a KKG even for Rinnegan wielder if they doesn't have the necessary KKG themselves apart from Rinnegan. And all we know that Sasuke doesn't possess any type of KKG except his doujutsu.

<p>I think this is confusingly worded. The Sharingan can gain insight on any jutsu, and through that insight copy it. This works for any jutsu. However, the user must still be physically able to perform that jutsu. Madara copied all of Hashirama's wood jutsu, but he couldn't actually perform those jutsu until he got Wood Release. Similarly, something like the 8 gates can only be achieved through tremendous training, and so if the user doesn't train themselves it cannot be performed. Think of it like being able to memorize the moves for a guitar, but having no guitar to play it on. </p><p>The Rinnegan doesn't break this rule. It grants insight in a different way, seemingly a sort of base understanding of chakra itself. This means the user can easily manipulate chakra (e.g. elemental transformations) and easily create new jutsu. However, the user must still be physically capable of doing so. </p><p>I know it's somewhat repetitive of the above post, sorry about that. </p>

<p>I think only a ten tails jinchuriki can do something similar to that, an examble are truth-seeking balls and other black chakra things used by Madara and Obito. Another example comes from Naruto's ability to create rasengan using lava or other mixed elements coming from bijuus.
</p><p>So, no, rinnegan does not unlock this stuff.

<p>To be clear, this still falls under the "if they can physically do it" part. The Juubi has the power of the 9 biju and so it can obviously tap into these powers. Naruto could make Lava Rasenshuriken etc because the biju with those respective powers helped him. </p>

<p>You know Madara used Ranton, an ability he probably had copied sometimes in his lifetime, but given that neither any of the Biju possess Ranton nor Jubi Jinchuriki are capable of Ranton specifically.
</p><p>So there must be something there? it is either the Rinnegan which helps a person learn any ninjutsu as well all five Nature Transformations or the Rikudo Senjutsu which allows allows comprehension of chakra.

I think he can copy anything EXCEPT kekkai genkai.
