<p>We truely don't know how the Rinnegen's immunity worked against the Infinite Tsukuoyomi. Sasuke looked so confident in using his Susanoo to protect against the Infinite Tsukuyomi. It's as if he knew it would work, like someone told him it. So it could be either that he did it all in a quick guess or Maybe the Sage said that he could use it like that, if Madara is succesful in IT. It could also be that Susanoo is knowm to. work like that against powerful genjutsu, who knows what. </p><p>But going with how Sasuke's Susanoo is made of his own Six Paths Chakra, it could be that he just might be immune to IT without Susanoo, or it could not. </p><p>Though why Ketsuryagan worked against Sasuke is what I believe, he didn't use his Rinnegen. He covered his Rinnegen behind his hair, supposedly stopping it from acting. It's like how Kakashi isn't exactly immune to Genjutsu as much as he is with while he's using his Sharingan while he covers it. </p><p>It's like that, I believe. </p>

<p>The Rinnegan was never said to be immune to genjutsu. iirc, that was something a fan made up before we got to translating the relevant db4 articles. </p>

<p>I don't know where the Idea of Rinnegen being immune to genjutsu came from, but the Rinnegen mixed EMS Sasuke possesed would probably be high in it's genjutsu resistence. I doubt the existence of any genjutsu strong enough to pass through that Doejutsu or that's what I think. </p>

<p>Rinnegan is immune to Infinite Tsukuyomi. Even the Wiki states this. It can block the light coming from the Infinite Tsukuyomi. The only reason Sasuke used Susano'o was to protect Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi. Since the Susano'o is really big, it can also protect others in it's vicinity. </p>

<p>Rinnegan immunity to IT was for plot purposes. Don't see the link of immunity to other visual genjutsu though. </p><p>@Blaze </p><p>You mentioned you had to leave the wiki to focus on your book. So you do have time to have for discussions, just not ones that challenge your opinion. </p>

<p>The thing is, it's not even really immune to THAT. Sasuke made his Susanoo impervious to IT's light, but waited inside himself as well. I mean, you can make an earth wall to defend against fireball jutsu, but that doesn't make YOU immune to fireball jutsu. </p>

<p>I agree, I thought until now that rinnegan was immune to VISUAL genjutsu, but from what I understood Sasuke was not immune, but rather was able to produce a susanoo that would not let light pass through it. </p>

<p>I find that you're taking things way too personally than it is. I remember quite exactly saying that I don't want to waste my time on pointless debates that will just end up in a fight. And I'm taking a break, here and there, not for pointless debates or anything else, but just to take small parts in discussion. </p>

<p>Pointless because you don't want a discussion? Or pointless because you don't consider other points of view? </p><p>Considering all the effort you put into a 'debate' previously, then pulling the whole "I can't waste time, I'm writing a book", just to come back now, seems manufactured. </p>

<p>No, pointless as in it has no use for both sides. I realize why people have been against the idea of versus debates and such. It is just well, wasteful and just starts up hate, like take this very situation for example, you're pointing me about a discussion one month ago that I kindly quit upon. As I've said, there's not much reason for the discussion, and I been in part of other discussions too, just after that one, did you seriously just notice me by now?
