<p>I want to know the limits of the shadow clone tech. In case you guys ask me to go read the artickes, ive done that. In the description it says complicated weaponry like the scientific ninja tools wouldn't be duplicated but apart from that does that mean that even things like explosive tags and sealing Scrolls can be duplicated? And if so can the point in the manga or anime where it occured be referenced?

<p>To quote the page: "Most tools and weaponry are copied when the shadow clones are created, but complicated technology won't be duplicated." And being that Naruto, if I remember correctly, made clones holding items, I don't see why it couldn't. The only problem I can see is certain summoning scrolls, as I don't think you can summon the same summon multiple times like that.

The way I see it would likely depend on the skill and knowledge of the ninja using the shadow clone technique if they knew how the complicated weapon works and has the skill to make their chakra into a perfect replica with the same properties then they might be able to copy complicated weapons but if they don't have the skill and knowledge the weapon would likely just look like the weapon but be non functional.
