Kaguya and Earth's God Tree

--Spoilers for those who don't read the Boruto manga--

So we have recently learned, that a Ten-Tails requires an Otsutsuki sacrifice in order to become a God Tree and that Kaguya was supposed to be said sacrifice, with Isshiki being the one who would have harvested the chakra fruit, which begs the question: how did Earth's God Tree become a thing in the first place?

Most plausible explanation is Plot Convenience. Like how Sharingan, a weird Genetic Trait of Uchihas related to the brain has the shape of a Shuriken.

Or we will learn more on it as we learn more about the Alien Race Ōtsutsuki.

Three possible explanations come to mind: 1) Kaguya used half of Isshiki to form the god tree. 2) Kaguya sacrificed herself to the god tree and used a kama mark to reincarnate. 3) Another Otsutsuki sacrificed themselves, indicating the presence of of third Otsutsuki arriving on earth with Kaguya and Isshiki.

In the very least, according to the anime, God Tree was already present by the time Kaguya arrived, but that doesn't seem to be very canon, but then again, Earth's God Tree was said to have been worshiped and such, implying its presence long before Kaguya's arrival, so shrugs.

The only plausible explanation is that there was a considerable timeskip between Kaguya's betrayal of Isshiki and her consumption of chakra fruit.
