So I thought about something. What if Minato had developed/learned the chidori and used it during his battle with Obito instead of Rasengan?
We’ve all seen the water towers’ impact taken my both Chidori and Rasengan but something doesn’t convince me completely about Rasengan. That is the fact that Obito didn’t absolutely explode Obito with a point blank Rasengan to the back (mind you AoE of Rasengan is virtually infinitely larger than Chidori as it only focuses on one spot).
My point is we’ve seen Chidori one shot people with an accurate enough hit as it’s mainly focused on being accurate and hitting vital organs. I believe Chidori, if accurately landed by Minato (if he hypothetically had used it instead of Rasengan) would’ve had a bigger chance of killing Obito in the battle. This also takes into consideration it was a young Obito with presumably less durability and vital force.
What do you guys think?
