@Thagiftedkid I accept your opinion, but Naruto never had any family. Iruka was the first to ever look at him as a normal human being with actual feelings (well maybe 3rd Hokage as well). So when he became part of a team I suppose he desperately wanted to be accepted and to be seen in the same way. His team was the only thing remotely close to a family and for a person who never had that, it meant everything. This is the reason why he didn't want to lose his friend and comrade. Another one is that hatred was the driving force behind Sasuke's actions. Naruto being the inheritor of Ashura's will was driven by love instead. He did not want to lose a friend and even more so lose him to evil.

@Lyan08 He was the 3rd person to look at naruto like a human being. The first 2 were Shikamaru and Choji.

No lots of people looked as a human first than a jinchuriki such as iruka,hinata and shikamaru the list goes on and so forth

Even the ramen guy and his daughter and even hiruzen

@MISTAAAAAA @Thagiftedkid Fair enough, but Iruka was the first form a proper bond with him and not be there to just serve him ramen or admire him from afar. As for Hiruzen, I believe I already mentioned him.

The actual show is great, naruto as a character IMO is decent. Especially in the beggining, in the kazekage rescue arc he was a massive pain in the ass to watch, and I was practically praying that deidara would blow him up.
