This lie needs to STOP. Kakashi did NOT clear his name.

In the Sasuke Shinden novel, it is explained that Naruto named Itachi as one of the shinobi who inspired and supported him. This made many Konoha villagers and shinobi very uncomfortable just hearing his name. But because it was Naruto, no one was going to challenge him on it and had to accept it.

It was not Kakashi; Kakashi didn’t do ish for Itachi. Naruto kept his secret and honored his sacrifice.
