Yeah this episode was bad for the most part but I feel everything we’ve gotten so far in this arc has been pretty good and I have the feeling that everything after this point is gonna be much much better

I just want to see the denkei fight cause mans about to use something cracked and what ever boruto and mitsuki are investigating.

It’s one of the worst episodes ever, my god... They really gave us a cool ass fight in episode 223 and good chunin exam and then gave us this ass-pulled one, ugh

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst episodes in the entire franchise for me. A lot of the filler episodes are bad, but this one definitely was the most awful. I thought I hated the Cho-Cho episodes, but at least with them you know what you're expecting - she's gonna be the episode's central character who just talks about herself, food and chasing guys. But with this one, I'd have thought there was gonna be a fight. Instead, there was a very brief attack which Iwabe blocked rather easily, and then the rest of it was them just talking and arguing... like, what the fuck...?

Iwabe is at least an interesting character because he's already shown to be quite tough, but I couldn't care less about Wasabi. She's so incredibly irrelevant to any storyline, whether that be the main or filler, and to top things off with this episode, they decided to add her irrelevant family as well as annoying flashbacks. This is meant to be the frickin' Chunin Exams where fights take place, but instead Iwabe pathetically wasted his chakra which caused him to pass out. The irony of it is, is that Wasabi even stated that she 'didn't want to win like this'. I swear to God, if this waste of 20 minutes is what promotes her to Chunin, I honestly hope that she and Namida are killed off at some point for the sake of character progression.

@1997Hawke Actually, I think they are trying to give at least one chunin to all "important" teams, probably so that they could use them somewhere down the line, so yes, fight was crap, but was still funny :D

@FunnStuff But her team is not important, not in the slightest. The only important team member was Sumire as she's relevant to the main story and isn't even on their team anymore. Further to that, that Samurai girl is supposedly leaving for the Land of Iron too. Plus, if they were going to make the team important, they should've done that from the start, not 200 episodes in. I'm all for funny episodes and moments, but not when I was expecting a combat episode.

@1997Hawke Maybe its not important in imediate turn, and maybe they just want to give at least 1 chunin to each team so they don't lag behind and could be used as teams in future - we can test my theory in Sarada vs Chocho and Denki vs Samurai girl, since if they want each team to have chunin, then Sarada and Denki will win, and it completely doesn't matter what happens to Boruto and Mitsuki (who will likely skip exam hunting for Amado)

The episode wasnt too bad tbh and I liked how they gave Wasabi some time to shine. Sucks that she didnt get to fight him fair and square though, since he had to be a chad and focus on motivating her xD
