@Nathan089 incorrect. In the data book says that Kakashi joined the ANBU at 13 years old, Itachi by the age of 12 already had 3 tomoe, experience not only in defeating high ranked shinobis and one year after that the clan killer and genjutsu top tier user

Jonin and Anbu are not the same rank

Elite Jonin easily but not a standard jonin.

I give Kid Itachi the slight edge, this ones close though.

@Fonollosaishere again Anbu isn't a higher rank than Jonin, and Kakashi could have easily made anbu at 12, only reason he was an anbu was because Minato wanted him to shift his interests and recover. i'll give you the sharingan experience point but Kakashi has also been able to defeat other jounin alone, only getting his eye slashed when caught off guard. he killed the weaker member of the clan, Obito killed the police force members.

Also pretty sure Itachi was 13 when he killed the clan so so even then we can't take those feats since we're using 12 yo Itachi and 12 year old Kakashi

After reading this, we can agree that this is a real close match but in the end Itachi has the slight edge for being able to master the Sharingan at Age 8 & for making the Anbu when he was 11, while Kakashi made it to Jonin at age 12, but his downfall here would be not being able to fully control his Sharingan & chidori.

The rank of anbu is very vague in terms of power since you dont have to be a chunin/jonin before becoming anbu

You can be an academy student and become an anbu, or genins and become anbu just fine

According to the images, clearly, Kakashi would win.

But if Itachi had the same age as Kakashi, then Itachi would win.

It’s almost as if you are saying anyone can join the anbu. You got to have some potential in your ninja skills to even join, you get trained until you are lethal. Itachi joining the Anbu is a better feat than Kakashi becoming jonin at age 12.
