More time =/= easier to fuse. They had trouble maintaining the Kyuubi avatar for a couple minutes, some other Jinchuriki were able to go into Bijuu Mode for a pretty long time.

No other jinjuriki like gaara and the rest have bijuu mode

Naruto, B, Kakashi, and Guy vs Obito and the Jinchuriki Paths shows them having Bijuu Modes?
