I saw some scaling for Shino to have him beat Itachi and there was some good evidence for it.

Apparently someone named Yoji Aburame creeped up to Shisui before he could react and Shino surpassed his clan in the war arc so that’s part of the scaling for Shino. There’s more but I’m not putting all of it.

I don't know if I mentioned this before but Shino is what got me into Naruto (until Kisame showed up). He even remained one of my top 5 characters until they decided to turn him into Iruka, now he barely makes my top 20.

The Aburame clan is one of Konoha's 4 noble clans along with the Hyuga, Uchiha and Akimichi yet for some reason the Aburame got sidelined. Shino's father is called "The Pride of the Aburame", why is that? He was also trusted with stopping Naruto so he must be pretty powerful.

Shibi (Shino's father) and Tsume (Kiba's mom) are Konoha's characters that interest me the most but unfortunately, will never be explored

@FixingGeoduck73 yeah, I read about Yoji a while ago, he's the reason Danzo was able to get Shisui's eye, It was Aburame Yoji, not Danzo, who defeated Shisui. I think the Aburame being a perfect counter to the Uchiha is why Danzo always wants one as a bodyguard

I wish I could post all of that Shino scaling that I saw but it would be too difficult to transfer it from Discord to here.

Sugaru's was paralyzed when Itachi used genjutsu on his insects. So really the Uchiha are a perfect counter to the Aburame.
