We don't know yet, this is what made people have minimum interest in Boruto: seeing what happend with Naruto and Sasuke, and if only Konoha was destroyed or if the Ninja Village System as a whole was ended, and how things ended this way.

Tbh once the Time skip happens I feel like that’s when Boruto will get good but as of right now I’d say it’s a 6/10
