I don't like how they had to retcon Naruto not liking Sakura in order to make this couple. It was a nice opportunity to make Naruto grow as a character in that sense and they avoided it because they couldn't manage a character maturing

The Relationship growed way too slow until the Last, then it progressed faster than a Train

Btw Relationship progression is a problem in the majority of Anime in general, even in Ecchis they make the loves Relationship progress like an 1800s couple and it's annoying.

@Dyss00 It wasn't a retcon, Naruto just matured and realized two things:

1. Sakura din't loved him, so it was no use in insisting

2. That Hinata was the only one at his age that always cared for hin and admired him since they were like 7, when the rest only became his friends in fact after he became a genin

That would be if he just stopped loving her. They say in the movie that he never loved her at all and was just compeiting with Sasuke.
