Seems like a happy family
At the beginning,I never knew that Hinata was his true love. Also I liked how she saved Naruto from pain.
Forced.
I don't like how they had to retcon Naruto not liking Sakura in order to make this couple. It was a nice opportunity to make Naruto grow as a character in that sense and they avoided it because they couldn't manage a character maturing
The Relationship growed way too slow until the Last, then it progressed faster than a Train
Btw Relationship progression is a problem in the majority of Anime in general, even in Ecchis they make the loves Relationship progress like an 1800s couple and it's annoying.
@Dyss00 It wasn't a retcon, Naruto just matured and realized two things:
Sakura din't loved him, so it was no use in insisting
That Hinata was the only one at his age that always cared for hin and admired him since they were like 7, when the rest only became his friends in fact after he became a genin
That would be if he just stopped loving her. They say in the movie that he never loved her at all and was just compeiting with Sasuke.
It was not retroactive continuity, this was known since Part I.
Indeed, his crush on Sakura was never genuine.
How does that mean his crush was not genuine?
Sakura treating him bad? That doesn't mean his feelings are not genuine
Saying "Yeah" to not being in the same team? He can just be nice. Even more, he calls her a weirdo and he doesn't care about the possibility of it changing even in front of her, he's just being not a complete asshole to someone who enjoys her time with him
For regretting later about not having cared about Hinata back then? That just means he liked her at the moment he regretted. You can like someone, notice they aren't for you, then start liking somebody who has always liked you and regret about not having liked them before since now you think it was a better option
Like Cord said it was forced. Also weird. I was giving their relationship the SIDE EYE the whole time.
What do you think?
