Sakura only had school taijutsu, the 3 basic jutsu , 2 basic weapons, basic knowledge of genjutsu and basic trap making, plus tree walking. UNDER TRAINED GENIN

It is sensei job to teach non-clan skills and improve current skills.

SHikamaru is trash at taijutsu and Lee is trash at everything that it's not taijutsu. So you just need to be good enough, it doesn't matter how or if you know something in particular
