I feel like yes bc some of the normal,nice,and hero's of the story turn bad or a villain like deku.

^^Eida changed everyone's memories or smth making him leave the village or that's how I think it went. Then you have Momoshiki who takes over sometimes, so you could call borushiki a villain in a way however you want to put it.

Later on, def not. Kawaki vs Boruto for the sake of saving his village.

I think tbh Boruto and Momoshiki will team up like a Naruto and Kurama type deal but for now I think Boruto will just have to deal with being possessed by Momoshiki till the two of them maybe get on good terms

Apparently he already is.

Since he’s inevitably going to be vilified by konoha because of Kawaki, I think he will be branded as more of a villain, especially since hes not able to control his borushiki form. I can go as far as to see Boruto forging a temporary alliance with Code (due to the latter’s mutual hatred of kawaki) against kawaki.
