He’s not that bad.

I think he’s fairly decent. Like we got to see the true backstory of him. Like him being alienated in the Hidden Leaf Village for having Kurama inside him, him flunking the Ninja Academy 3 times, and Iruka Umino being very alike with him. He always gets his ass handed to him but always gets back up and vows to keep going until the very end.

Annoying, weird and goofy

That’s basically his own thing, though.

But I love how he had analytical skills in the show. Like his plan to extract Kakashi from Zabuza’s Water Prison Jutsu.
