I don’t see how kakashi loses tbh

@25kBuda the 2nd @Tim Xman When it comes to MS Kakashi then it's clear Kakashi has a hax that cuts him above Asuma even in BOS. However albeit in MS form the base cut between Asuma and 3T Kakashi isn't until Pain Arc for Kakashi to be a cut above Asuma with out Kamui hack.

I see why people see Asuma as often much weaker often taking a general view of the manga or watching the anime which anime doesn't represent the manga as accurate tbh.

@NarutoDBZ999 It doesn't change the fact that Hidan still won against Asuma and that Kakashi was able to counter and beat Kakazu multiple times, without using his Mangekyo at all.

Hidan winning doesn't mean Asuma is weaker. Kakashi didn't beat Kakazu multiple times. In fact similar to Asuma without Shikamaru both didn't accomplish no proper injuries. Rather it was Hidan or Kakazu.

Asuma decapitated Hidan because Shikamaru

Kakashi pierced Kakazu because Shikamaru's opening. I get he countered Lightning and avoided wind mask but Asuma would be fine in both scenarios. Kakazu also blitz Kakashi twice once Shikamaru left.

@NarutoDBZ999 With what jutsu would Asuma counter Kakazu's Lightning and wind masks with; his masks could literally just dodge. Also if Kakashi was able to get blitzed by Asuma, then so could Asuma. He's not any faster.

There is zero reason to assume that Kakashi is weaker than Asuma especially with a Sharingan, even a three tomoe one. The statements aren't in Asuma's favour, as one of the databooks (the first one I believe) says that Kakashi is the strongest Jonin in the Leaf. The relevant third databook statements that cover early pre-Pain Invasion Arc Shippuden list Kakashi as the overall stronger, with better Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and an equal Taijutsu stat. Kakashi should win mid-diff. He counters all of Asuma's jutsu with his vast arsenal and has potential to put him under a Genjutsu.

In the first Databook Asuma was noted to be near Kakashi true strength literally meaning a full out Kakashi will have a hard difficulty fight against Asuma. Asuma poses a lethal threat to Kakashi albeit Kakashi will likely have a higher win rate it would not br without high or extreme difficulty or the chance for Kakashi to win. We see these references directly that this is the case and Kakashi isn't at a level that will simply outplay Asuma.

Itachi notes atleast for p1 Kisame that a fight between Kakashi and Kisame would be long and without consequences. With just an invisible wind cut to Kisame cheel forced Kisame down while Asuma flex his blade. Sure both were not going for the kill but Asuma can sharpen his chakra blades at a higher level that far surpasses the one that put Kisame down. Which represents that Asuma and Kakashi in the same range.

In the third databook Asuma is stated to be Konoha's best close arm combat (melee) fighter and his skills although limited because Hidan showed Asuma skills.

I am not like other people I am one that can back up what I say. I argue for Asuma but I can see Kakashi winning difference is not many people can back up Kakashi. I seen really good Kakashi debaters but those with small toss up answers likely won't win or rather counter with ignorance. I am the type to view and listen to everyone perspective.

There is not much besides like IQ, Battle IQ, and genjutsu probably where Kakashi outbeats Asuma.

Put it into this perspective if its true it can be proven for both sides.

BOS 3T Kakashi has no speed feat that put him above Asuma's speed.

Strength is irrelevant in such a fight but if needed nothing displays these two having a major strength advantage.

Now here comes the shocking part that pisses people off because they can never probe it. Despite having 3T sharingan Asuma has better reaction or definitely not inferior to dodge or to respond to attacks.

Kakashi attack speed isn't better much less marginally better.

Kakashi does have better ninjutsu as he has more but may not always use them. Rather Asuma has greater AP power in his techniques
