@Posterboi What are you talking about? Minato had to make Naruto a jinchuriki in order for him to learn how to control Kurama's power and stop Obito. If Naruto didn't become a jinchuriki, Obito and Madara would've won.

Him leaving his mess for his son to clean up is not debatable. Naruto didn’t ask to be born and wasn’t given a choice in becoming Jinchuriki. Minato was the perfect shinobi don’t get me wrong but just not a good father.

@Posterboi He died protecting his son. How was he supposed to raise him if he sacrificed his life for him. Make it make sense. It's not even Minato's fault that Obito became the person he was.

Minato: Sacrificed his life to save his son, best by default because of it

Rasa: Worst. Father. Ever. He literally tried to murder his own son on several occasions and hired the only person who cared for Gaara to be his assassin and break the poor kiddo :(

Shikaku: The only one of these that was consistently active in his son's life for their entire childhood gives him some bonus points, even if I didn't agree with a lot of his advice

Fugaku: A strict father, but not a bad one.

Duy: A wise and good father who left a strong impression on his son

Butsuma: Strict to the point of borderline abusive. However he does get points for protecting Hashirama from being treated poorly because of being friends with someone from the enemy clan

@Chezzy SSJ4 He knew the risk of knocking up a Jinchuriki yet he did it anyway. Dude got overconfident in FTG and thought he was untouchable so he didn’t feel the need to prepare countermeasures

Majority of fans forget that he chose to die that night. He could’ve raised Naruto as a single father but nooo he couldn’t bear to live in a world without his wife in it. Fans would rather shit on Hiruzen for not taking care of Naruto than the actual father who dipped

Also the child of prophecy was originally Minato’s duty but he passed it on to his son cuz again he has no commitment to finish his job whether it be hokage, father or the chosen one. It’s always someone else that has to step up and fill in his role

Might Duy sacrificed his life for his son without giving him (Guy) a harder life along with Duy's sacrifice. Best thing a Father could ever do.

Though we didn't see much dad side of him but i think he would've made the best dad if he would've been alive

Might Duy was just the best. He taught his son the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity, as well as when one should break glass in case of emergency. Dude was a G. Minato cones next. He's pretty good, but let's be honest, Naruto probably didn't need the Nine-Tails sealed inside of him. Kurama would have regenerated. He should have let Kushina take it with her. It didn't stop a war with Kumo, and even during the time Naruto had it, it was never used. I think Minato's sacrifice was unnecessary. Shikaku was a good parent too. Taught his son what in the village should be protected and what must be sacrificed for it sometimes. Fugaku is actually pretty good. Not the best though, because he mostly favored Itachi and ignored Sasuke. He also led a revolt that could have caused possibly a world war. But he gets bonus points for letting Itachi kill him, but minus points for putting him in the position to do so. Butsuma... man... Dude sending his children to die. It's sad. Very sad. And he seemed not to care. Not to mention he could have ended the war, but didn't even try. Continued the killing for the sake of killing. Rasa. -_-|| Rasa tried to have his son murdered. Basically, Gaara became a serial killer because his Dad made him that way.
