@Tim Xman Wait but how does Jiraiya win? He was beating large creatures like Ponta like it was nothing, and he was more than a match for Killer Bee, who was pretty much the strongest Jinchuriki before Naruto got KCM, no question. I get that Jiraiya has a wide arsenal of Jutsu, but Kisame is called the "Tailess Tailed Beast" for a reason. He outclasses Jiraiya in speed, strength, and durability, and his overall chakra reserves are massive; Jiraiya would have to enter Sage Mode in order to barely contest with Kisame's chakra reserves. I know in Part 1 Kisame was saying how risky it was to go against Jiraiya and him and Itachi ran from the fight, but I think it was mostly to avoid bringing too much attention to themselves and getting other powerful Leaf ninja from getting involved; either one of them would be able to take Jiraiya by themselves.

Jiraiya has a wide arsenal of Jutsu that would hard even for kisame to counter. Summoning toads will help a lot if he changes the environment to water they aren’t weak like the raccoon. Also samehada doesn’t like fire. Sound genjutsu is a KO, So is the Toad Belly Trap.

Jiraiya couldn’t even beat orochimaru. 7th Gate Guy >Itachi> Kisame>Orochimaru > Jiraiya

Kisame mid diff

You guys hype Kisame up too much. Jiraiya held his own against Pain, while Kisame isn't even on Pains level at all.

@25kBuda the 2nd I don’t blame them Kisame could defeat Roshi low diff who had a lava style chakra mode and could use Bijuu Bombs.

Kisame also had an advantage against him because of his water style, as we know certain Akatsuki are chosen best for a task. Kisame's worst feat was offing himself from 7G Guy.

In kisames defense it did take might guy, two jinchuriki, a wood style user and a few jonin just to restrain kisame with no samehada. Kisame was strong.

Since when was Kisame overhyped? He deserves his flowers. Anyway, Tim Xman is right. I don't see how Kisame can counter the toads and I forgot that Samehada hates fire, along with the fact that Jiraiya has genjutsu on his side.
