Boruto'd also get some huge power increase since SM is at least a 10x multiplier and his feats already in base alone get him to the same tier as BM Naruto & Isshiki.

Yeah, obviously it would make him stronger, but realistically is a 10x boost really relevant compared to the Karma boost?

Absolutely not. His primary amp in his story is the Karma/Kama Mark which is usually exclusive to only him and Kawaki that fits their theme only. SM is more of Naruto's amp theme.
