Konan was able to tank a fire style point blank with no damage. But ultimately did get one shot by Base Jiraiya

She was able to fight multiple members of the aburame clan. The aburame clan is an elite clan and konoha and has the most jonins.

She was able to damage obito BEFORE the sea of paper bombs. She was one of the first people to significantly hurt him besides Minato (another one of Jiraiya’s students) Also she moved fast enough in paper form that Obito needed the sharingan precognition to find her.

She's an exception in the akastuki because she wasn’t recruited by obito or scouted by zetsu specifically for her power. But obito didn't want to kill her beforehand because keeping her around would make nagato comply. Obito definitely underestimated her like he said.

because she was able to keep up with obito and blow him up minus the sea of paperbombs, she performed way better than fuu and torume did against him. The fact she’s an explosive user, long range fighter, sensor type and partially intangible in paper form. I will put her at Low Kage above Sasori and Deidara. I don’t think she has a strong enough arsenal to take down Kakuzu so under him

@Jhamamel @Seekerbro I agree with IKtime too but with one difference, I would put her above Sasori as well. Only because Her paper form would negate his poisonous needles etc.

Konan in lower (not lowest) mid-kage.

In terms of abilities, Konan is seriously underrated. Her paper jutsu literally makes her immune to physical attacks and a lot of ninjutsu. Her chakra is also huge considering she created an entire ocean of paper bomb with her own paper jutsu. Not to mention, she beat Obito in a 1 v 1 with prep time.

I agree with what others said, her ability to remain intangible negates Sasori's poison attacks, and the explosive tags should be more than enough to blow the puppets up, give that those same tags managed to harm Orange Mask Obito, and half of his body was covered in Hashirama cells. That's pretty darn impressive to be able to harm someone with such a durable body using only paper bombs. Deidara can't even harm her with his explosions because fire has been proven not to work on her paper jutsu. Even without prep time, Konan is really underrated now that I think about it.
