Hidan is the weakest Akatsuki member, his immortality and ritual is ALL he has

And immortality isn’t very useful when a rasengan would completely paralyze him for life, so he’d just lay in a crater and starve to death, just like what Shikamaru did to him

@Liam667 The problem with Shikamaru is that he's fast (dodging a kick from Delta, stopped Kinshiki mid-swing and bound the Five Kage (including Naruto who knew he was going to use it but couldn't react in time)) but he doesn't have anything else.

@Liam667 Yes, he defeated an immortal guy, an immortal considered the weakest member of Akatsuki, "his power" derives from his immortality, nothing more than that, average Taijutsu, no feats with Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. Arguing that Shikamaru defeated Hidan, all previous Hokages would defeat him with extreme ease, Hashirama with Adamantine Fist, Tobirama, Bomb clones, Hiruzem any Basic Seal Jutsu, Minato any Basic Seal Jutsu, Tsunade A punch well thrown, Danzou Izanagi, Kakashi Chidori+Clone, Naruto Rasenshuriken.

I wonder where it says that Hidan is the weakest member. The true is he’s in the top 5 above Itachi

It's pretty much obvious in comparison to the other members.

He’s stated to be the slowest in the Akatsuki

To be quite honest, Hidan doesn't even beat his brother Zetsu

Hidan has immortality, and nothing else

He’s the weakest of the akatsuki

He has no ninjutsu, or genjutsu, his taijutsu isn’t that good, and his stats are average Jonin level at best

Dude was only in the Akatsuki because Kakuzu couldn’t murder him

Minato Namikaze (The Fastest Hokage until Naruto matched his speed, he was faster than the Raikage and even mastered the flying raijin to levels not even Tobirama could dream off, he created the Rasengan which we see him use to match a restricted Kurama bijuu bomb, was able to master Uzumaki Sealing Jutsu’s, and was even a user of Saga Mode) *Interchangeable with #3*

Hiruzen Sarutobi (Said to be the strongest Kage of his time which would include The 3rd Raikage, someone considered stronger than The 4th Raikage, was also capable of fighting on par with the 8 Tails and was the first person to use Black Lightning… The 3rd Kazekage, the strongest Kage of the Sand and master of the Iron Sand, and Onoki master of the kekkei tota Dust Release, and was also implied to have surpassed Tobirama. He was master of all 5 chakra natures, a veteran Kage, sensei to the sannin, and said to be a master of every technique in the Leaf)

Tobirama Senju (The 2nd Hokage, creator of The Flying Raijin and Shadow Clone, and master of Water Style, Tobirama was known far and wide has an intelligent and powerful Kage, as the younger brother of Hashirama, he grew up through multiple wars, and was even able to fight off The Kinkaku Squad which led by Two Pseudo-Jinchuuriki’s and consists of 18 other Cloud Jonin, he fought them and brought them to hell with him)

Tsunade Senju (The Grandaughter of Hashirama The 1st Hokage, descendant of both Senju and Uzumaki Clans, and The 5th Hokage, She was known as one of the cannon and was known for her strength that surpasses even the Raikage and her mastery of the 100 healings which grants her regenerations, mastery over healing ninjutsu, and even a state that increases he speed, strength, and regeneration, she was one of the strongest of the 5 Kage during The 4th Great Shinobi War)

8. Shikamaru Nara (as the Current 8th Hokage and Leader of The Nara Clan, Shikamaru may not seem the strongest, but his mastery over shadow possession always him to restrain Kage and even Otsutsuki like Kinshiki, and his intelligence is one of the highest in the verse)

9. Danzo Shimura (a former student of Tobirama The 2nd Hokage and former teammate/rival of Hiruzen The 3rd Hokage, Danzo is a master of wind style and has an array of jutsu’s, he even once had a Hashirama Cell Arm and a Dozen Sharingan across said arm, this allowed him mastery over Genjutsu like Izanagi, which allowed him to manipulate the perception of reality and fate. Unfortunately for him this didn’t allow him to beat Sasuke, and didn’t allow him to compete with some of the stronger Kage)
