This is an explanation as to how I would change the War Arc to make it better and match it with the rest of Shippuden. These changes start as soon as FKS:
- Kisame actually dies to Killer Bee, & instead of Sasuke going blind, Naruto saves Kakashi from Sasuke, and they do Naruto Vs Sasuke II, which is Sage Naruto Vs Late-FKS Sasuke. Sasuke goes blind at the end of their fight and goes back with Obito to prep for the War by getting EMS.
- Naruto is told he is training to control the Kyuubi, but is not told about the war. For the War, 3 divisions are made. First is Sai, Ino, Kurotsuchi, Mei, Darui, Chojoro, Neji, Lee, Ten-Ten, & later 4th Raikage Vs Edo Akatsuki
- Fights: Mei Vs Kakuzu, 4th Raikage Vs Kisame, Sasori Vs Neji & Lee, Deidara Vs Air Troops (Sai, Ino, Darui, Kurotsuchi, Chojoro, & Ten-Ten)
- Gaara’s division (2nd) is the same. Others like Kitsuchi are to guard the main headquarters. 3rd div is Samurai, Shikamaru, Team 8, Sakura, Choji & Choza, Kakashi, Guy, & Later Tsuande Vs Prime Kimimaro, Sakumo, Hanzo, & Dan.
- Fights: Sakumo Vs Kakashi, Guy Vs Kimimaro, Dan Vs Team 8 & Shikamaru, Prime Hanzo Vs Tsunade, Choza, Choji, & The Samurai
- KCM Naruto fights Bee for his final training test, & after goes into SM & learns about the War. They get past 4th Raikage, fight Itachi & Nagato, & Naruto (the real one) goes to Gaara’s division. Itachi tells Bee goes to get Kakashi & Guy, & then Itachi runs away (but not to Kabuto). Naruto runs into Edo Jiraiya & they have a heartfelt moment, as Naruto shows Jiraiya how much he's grown.
- Go like the OG story until Edo Madara, where Madara only has the Sharingan (no Rinnegan), and Instead of the 5 kage, Naruto tells Onoki & Gaara that he will fight him with Kakashi, Guy, & Bee. Edo Itachi also joins them after the Kage leave. Rinnegan Tobi fights the 5 Kage, where he wins, and Naruto goes KCM2 Vs PS Madara. The PS is also not quite as big, since I am scaling back.
- Sasuke takes down Kabuto, showing his new EMS power, & Itachi summits from the fight with Madara to talk with Sasuke one last time before releasing the Edo Tensei. It is revealed that Black Zetsu broke Kabuto's link to Madara.
- After receiving all of Itachi's memories, Sasuke goes to find Orochimaru, who Itachi released when he separated Naruto & Bee, kills Kabuto, gives Sage Jutsu to Orochimaru, and he makes him bring back the previous Hokages
