1. He forgives Sasuke cause he knew he was misguided and going down a path that wasn’t right, he knew him since childhood, grew up trying to be his rival, and deep down, they were the same, suffering in the dark with few knowing the pain they have, yet, both understood each other, Naruto admitted that, Sasuke tried to refuse it. Naruto didn’t want Sasuke to fall into darkness.

2. Naruto also keeps a close eye on Orochimaru, so he may have forgiven him, but during the Shin Uchiha Arc, Naruto openly felt suspicious towards Orochimaru and the former members of Taka.

3. Obito openly admitted it was just Rin, even the story pushes this, Rin was just what fully made him snapped, and the story also pushes that Naruto and Obito were pretty much the same character, but their changes in character all came down to circumstances, but in the end, they were the same, and Naruto forgives those he still sees light in.

4. The Same Zabuza who broke down in tears after seeing Haku die and after Naruto screamed out of for a whole minute? Kakashi is murderer as-well, all Shinobi are virtually assassins, they are Ninja, that’s their job. Btw, Minato, ya know, the kind caring father of Naruto, probably one of the nicest dudes in Naruto? Killed 1,000 Stone Shinobi in a single fight. Killing people legit means nothing, Naruto himself legit tried to kill the fake Itachi during the Gaara Rescue Arc, even the MC is willing to kill/murder.

5. Who is pretty much a parallel of Naruto. Both were forced to be Jinchuuriki, both were hated by their village cause of that, they grew up without the full on love of their parents and practically alone, and had to deal with the legit dark demons within them. Only difference is that Naruto was able to grew up with Friends cause he strived to prove the village wrong, well Gaara snapped cause. So Naruto virtually changed him, both understood each other and in the end Gaara changed for the better. You would also go insane if you were unable get proper sleep for 10 years cause a damn Tailed Beast creeps into your nightmares.

6. Like this what Naruto is suppose to be, that even in the darkest hour, without forgiveness and mercy, there is no light in the darkness, just darkness. Some villains are meant to be parallels of Naruto, pretty much showing that this could be Naruto if he didn’t go down the path he did.

7. Btw, there’s a pretty big difference between a dude sparing dudes whose worst things is killing a portion of each village in an all out war and dude sparing a galactic tyrant who rules over galaxies, and genocides entire Planets. Legit only people Naruto has gone up against with that kind of track record is the Otsutsuki, and last I checked, Isshiki, Momoshiki, and Kinshiki are dead.

Orochimaru became evil because he was traumatized by war, and wasn’t rlly forgiven, he’s still under watch constantly. He basically only stopped being evil because he won. Dude got immortality, he’s chill now.

Zabuza he didn’t forgive, he just thought he had some good qualities

Gaara was an abused and traumatized 12 year old

Obito yeah; technically he was also traumatized and manipulated (and technically kinda controlled with the heart seal) by Madara but still, the whole plan was pretty dumb so I don’t forgive him just for that
