Orochimaru should've definitely been locked up or killed after the war, I don't know why they let him have a lab again and continue with his twisted experiments. He kidnapped
children and adults, performed illegal and inhumane experiments on his victims, and was involved in the murders TWO Kage and almost destabilized both of their nations. The fact that they let him off with no punishment whatsoever baffles me. Even in the Boruto era, he created artificial clones with full-on Magekyo Sharingan that went rogue. They have Yamato watching Orochimaru like Yamato could do anything if Orochimaru decided to be evil again; Yamato couldn't even fight against Orochimaru in Shippuden, what's an older Yamato against a stronger and physically younger Orochimaru going to do? Honestly a major oversight on Kakashi and Naruto's part.
