Tho it has more conditions than Saiyans adapting to battle.

Saiyans get stronger whenever they survive something lethal, they are more adapted to combat then humans.

Doesn’t mean Humans aren’t adapted to fight.

Before Raditz and Piccolo Jr, some of Goku’s biggest rivals were humans like Yamcha and Tien.

And Sakura is a well trained shinobi. Most Shinobi are adapted to combat.

Also Saiyans Don’t always need to survive something lethal to get stronger. Adapting to the fight also allows them to get stronger.
