My favorite part is actually something I just watched today which was the Final Valley 1 fight. The entire fight made me realize Naruto isn't all bad.

I liked much of part 1 naruto.

Chunin Exams Part 3 was awesome. I liked seeing all the different fights and techniques for the first time.

Sasuke Rescue Mission was probably the best arc of Part 1 imo. The fights were written really well, the jutsu shown off were really cool, and a few characters that tended to be underutilized got to show off their full power and some great character development.

I liked part 1 more then part 2.
