So Choji his father and Kakashi couldn't stand up to the 2 bodies of Asura and Deva. If it wasn't for Kakashi's Kamui, all three of them would have died. Jiraiya may not be strong enough even at his peak in Hermit mode but he fought single handedly against Payne's 6 bodies worthily.
