Idk, it's just there are many cool and interesting ideas in Japanese cartoons.

It seems that everyone just has superpowers and they are compared to other characters superpowers

Not every one has that, the action in alot of them does intrigue me, yk as well the word building, interesting plot, etc

I think the superpower comparison thing happens mostly in shonen

I've never watched anime so I have no idea

I find it interesting plot wise ( especially battle anime, which is the only kind i have watched actually) and i am not sure i just feel a special connection to it.

I just find it entertaining and fun and sometimes you can even learn something from what you watch, and i love the styles that change from each anime to anime🔥
